Hi Flier Open Boat Trip: Sat., October 8

 

 

 

Tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 6 the NOAA forecast is going to keep us in the bay. We are available for blowfish, and kingfish. The fish have been quality size. We anchor up around the BI and BB Buoys and chum for them. We use ultra-lite 6 pound outfits and when the kings hit they burn some drag. At the end of the trip, you have a nice ziplock of tasty Barnegat Bay fish. We could possibly combo some striper fishing on this trip. I have live spots and there have been some fish caught in the Inlet. This one is available as a 6 hour charter, not an open boat. $450 for the boat, up to four anglers, $25 a head extra if we bring live spots and striper fish.

 

Saturday, October 8 looks like the wind and seas flatten out, so we will once again attempt to run off to Barnegat Ridge and/or the Mud Hole. The water has cleaned up to crystal clear in those places, so we will be packing spearing and live bait to target bonita, albacore, and bluefin tuna. Looking to anchor and bait fish more than troll on these trips. This is an open boat trip. Leaving at 6AM, returning around 2 PM. $200 person. Limited to 3 people. All fish are shared.
